Prologue is a 2015 British animated short film directed by Richard Williams and produced by his wife Imogen Sutton. It is the first part of a planned feature film based on the play Lysistrata by Aristophanes, in which Greek women withhold sexual privilege from their husbands and lovers in order to end a war. The film was a critical success and gained many awards and nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Short Film.

My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Friendship Games is the third movie in the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls line of films, itself a spin-off of the animated television show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. It is currently set for release in September 26, 2015. The plot centers around the Canterlot High Wondercolts facing off against the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts in the eponymous Friendship Games, which include archery, motocross, and roller derby. Among the ranks of the Shadowbolts is the human incarnation of Twilight Sparkle, who was previously seen in The Stinger of Rainbow Rocks studying the magical goingson at Canterlot High. It's unknown whether Princess Twilight will appear and meet her human counterpart.

Pickle and Peanut is an American animated television series that premiered on Disney XD on September 7, 2015.  The series was created by Noah Z. Jones, creator of Fish Hooks and Almost Naked Animals, and developed by Joel Trussell. It is about two anthropomorphic friends, Pickle and Peanut, whose misadventures form the content of the show. As with Jones' previous Disney series Fish Hooks, the show utilises a combination of live action and animation elements. On July 23, 2016, during the San Diego Comic Con 2016, Disney announced that the show has been renewed for a second season.

The series airs on Disney XD and premiered on September 26, 2015 as a part of the Marvel Universe block. While it serves as a spiritual continuation of the first film's plot, film director James Gunn has stated that it is not a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe nor connected to the feature film or its sequel.

When Mari McCabereturns to Detroit after searching for information on her birth parents, she ends up in jail for stabbing a potential employer in the hand with a pen. Her foster father Chuck posts her bail, and the two are confronted in an alley by some thugs looking to take Mari's Tantu Totem, which she inherited from her birth parents at a young age. Mari uses the totem's powers to defeat the thugs, and the next day, visits Professor Macalester hoping to learn more about the totem and her family. Elsewhere atS.T.A.R. Labs,Cisco Ramonbecomes aware of Mari and her powers, and theFlashand theArrowgo to Detroit to investigate. In Detroit, Mari shows Chuck the totem's powers, when Barry and Oliver show up at their house. Convinced they want to imprison her, she flees, with the two heroes giving chase. Finally getting Mari to stop, the Flash and Arrow try to convince Mari to let them help her. Not trusting them, Mari leaves and returns to Professor Macalester in hopes of getting more answers. Unbeknownst to Mari, Macalester is working for Kuasa, who shows up, looking to retrieve the totem. Unable to remove the totem from her neck, Mari tries to escape and is shot by Kuasa's men. She wakes up in the abandoned Zambesi Village in Africa, where Kuasa reveals she is her older sister and this is her birthplace, telling her the history of the totem and the village's destruction. Kuasa reveals she was chosen to protect the totem and attempts to sever the bond it has with Mari. The attempt fails and Mari flees, though she passes out shortly after, allowing Kuasa to claim the totem. After coming to, the animal spirits of the totem confront Mari, telling her she is its true wielder. With their support, Mari returns to the village and defeats Kuasa and her followers, regaining the totem. Back in Detroit, Mari begins fighting crime as the heroine Vixen, finally knowing her purpose in life, with Arrow and Flash promising to offer assistance should she ever ask.
