The humour and irony-laden art criticism of György Kovásznai’s previous films is further developed in this short. Each of the three episodes acquired a different visual presentation. The first episode makes fun of the cinema (and its overstimulating effect), the second of the theatre (and its hypocrisy) and the third of the classical music (and its snobbism).

On a bright summer's day in the early 20th century, a young man sits on a cliff by the sea to practice his cello. Unfortunately, the young man's ferocious playing style rouses up a storm which causes the waves to sweep a young woman (who was gathering shrimp by the shore) out to sea. The heroic cellist dives in to save the woman and finds himself battling some sea creatures for posession of both the woman and his cello.

Rock 'n' Rodent is a 1967 Tom and Jerry short (though the year of copyright is 1966) directed by Abe Levitow and produced by Chuck Jones, and featured music by Carl Brandt. The title is a pun on "rock and roll", despite the music played being jazz. Animation was supervised by Ben Washam, Dick Thompson, Tom Ray, Don Towsley and Ken Harris.

Spider-Man is an American animated television series that aired from September 9, 1967, to June 14, 1970. It was jointly produced in Canada (for voice talent) and in the USA (for animation) and was the first animated adaptation of the Spider-Man comic book series, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. It first aired on the ABC television network in the USA but went into syndication at the start of the third season. Grantray-Lawrence Animation produced the first season. Seasons two and three were crafted by producer Ralph Bakshi in New York City.

The Fantastic Four is an animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and the first animated series based on Marvel's comic book series Fantastic Four. The program, featuring character designs by Alex Toth, aired on ABC from 1967 to 1970. It lasted for 20 episodes, with repeat episodes airing on ABC until the network cancelled the program. It was also rerun as part of the continuing series Hanna-Barbera's World of Super Adventure. Through a series of transactions, Disney currently holds the rights to the majority of Marvel's 1960s-1990s animated output. However, the 1967-1968 Fantastic Four was produced by Hanna-Barbera, whose library is now owned by Time Warner, making the series one of only a handful of Marvel-related TV projects not owned by Disney (which has since acquired Marvel outright). Time Warner is also the owner of Marvel's biggest competitor, DC Comics.
